Hairstyle 1

This hairstyle is perfect for a red carpet look. It is casual yet glamorous. It doesn’t give you the ‘trying too hard’ feel and makes it look effortlessly stylish. This hairstyle will make you stand out in a crowd as clearly defined curls in an updo are given here which steer clear of the overdose at red carpet events of long lengths blowdried either straight or curled.

Steps –

1. Wash your hair with kerastase volumising shampoo and conditioner to give volume to your hair.

2. Apply a lot of mousse on the crown area to add volume and define the curls that you will be creating in the next step.

3. Dry your hair with a blow dryer and curl all your hair using a curling wand.

4. Secure a bouffant slightly behind the crown area with bobby pins. This will raise the hair on top of the hair and give it a fuller look.  Use a comb to drag the hair back and forward to create the raised effect. Fold the curled lengths into a bun at the back and pin up with bobby pins.

5. Now take the hair from the crown area and sweep it back sideways. Use a setting pin to hold it in place.

6. Finish the style with a light styling spray to set it in place and give it a perfect curl defined look.

Tip – Don’t use a very heavy bouffant or it will look too dramatic.

Hairstyle 2

A bun never goes out of fashion.  It will always remain classic and stylish. This hairstyle is truly versatile as you can personalize it depending on the occasion and your clothes. A messy hair bun gives you a stylish look and it is perfect for an evening party or even a day brunch with the girls.

Steps -

1. Wash your hair the night before you want to make this hairstyle. Forgo the conditioner.

2. Comb your hair and apply rollers on the lengths. Leave the hair on the crown area.

3. Part hair into four sections - two at the front and two at the back.

4. Take the back two sections of hair and slip in a hair doughnut like you are tying it in a ponytail. This should be done just a little behind the crown area and not at the back of the head. Once the doughnut is placed like a scrunchie, fold in the lengths over the doughnut to cover it and secure it with bobby pins. Use elnett l'oreal hair spray on it.

5. Part the hair in the crown area sideways and use a straightening iron on the hair on the front left side. Gently pull it back giving it a slight push to make a hair puff. Use a setting pin to hold it.

6. Take the small section of hair on the right side and curl it using a curling wand.

7. Finish the style with a light styling spray to set it in place and give it a perfect curl defined look.

Tip – Use the back of a tail comb to pull out few fine hair and give the look a casual appeal.
